I understand that there is frustration coming when things dont work the way they are supposed to. The main features of the DEX - Swapping, Liquidity pools, Yield farming, Harvesting - all work fine and have always worked fine. The Claimdrop and Lockdrop feature, rely on pulling some data from the Relay, on which the rest of the DEX features do not depend. So of course one could say "SS is working fine" - well all features that SS offers are working fine on HeliSwap too and have not been affected.
That being said, our team is very aware with the issues you are facing and we are constantly in touch with the team working on the relay to help us with the fix. When you innovate and bring new technology to a growing ecosystem, there is a risk that things may sometimes have problems. Both Lockdrop and Claimdrop were working fine until with a recent update to the mirror node/relay we started to see a timeout when the relay calls some of the nodes - sometimes. This also explains why it works more frequently for some than others.
Yes, it is not working as it is supposed to, and it does currently cause a lot of frustration to some, but again, we all know that Hedera is an evolving technology that is constantly improving.As a project, and I think we agree this holds for all hedera projects, it is important to keep innovating and building new products on this new and evolving DLT despite these potential risks.
